Congratualtions London on winning your own chance to be knee-deep in debt in 2012.
Hopefully, they will fare better than the $8 billion in debt Greece obtained in 2004. Perhpas they will even pay it off quicker than Montreal's 30 year debt.
I am still unsure why countries try so hard to get the olympics. True, it is an honor, but is it worth it. You put your economy, national security and pride on the line for it. The ratings have sunk for the Olympics so its not as if the hype matches the viewership.
Just a small thought.
