With the acquisition of Macromedia, Adobe now owns %90 of the internets multimedia tools. Daring Fireball has the press release along with the english version(non-buzzword and jive) for us to learn from.
I think he sums it up best with:
You think the current version of Acrobat Reader takes too long to launch, runs too slowly, and uses too much memory? You ain’t seen nothing yet.
